About Our Counseling

Counselors with Northern Illinois SCORE represent many industries, backgrounds and skill sets.

Since 1986, Northern Illinois SCORE small business counselors have collectively accounted for about 3,500 years of business and industrial experience.  Together they have held more than 6,600 counseling sessions with local entrepreneurs and businesses .

Listed in the table to your right are the career backgrounds and personal biographies of current SCORE counselors. When evaluating your counseling needs, you may choose to request a counselor that has experience in the area of your need.  While SCORE will do their best to accommodate your request, please understand SCORE can not guarantee the availability of that counselor for your specific situation.






At What Times Does SCORE Counsel?

Northern Illinois SCORE counsels on Wednesday and Friday from 9 am until 12 noon.  Sessions are 1 hour in length. Visit our in-person business counseling page for more information.



May I Return for Additional Counseling?

Sure!  There is no limit on the number of sessions you may have.  Just schedule an appointment for each session.



Is It Possibly to Schedule My Counseling Online?

Yes!  There are two ways to counsel online. 

First, if you have counseled with someone at NI SCORE in person locally, then you can email or call that person and request online counseling at a mutually agreeable time.

Second, you may select an online counselor at large from the national SCORE site at  www.score.org.  You will have the several options in choosing your counselor.  For more information visit the online counseling information page.
